About Deosai Plains
Deosai National Park, known as the ‘Land of Giants’, is the second-highest alpine plateau in the world, averaging 4,114 meters above sea level. Spanning over 3,000 square kilometers, Deosai is a silent, tree-less wilderness of rolling green hills, crystal-clear streams, rare alpine flora, and the natural habitat of the endangered Himalayan brown bear.

Best Time to Visit
Deosai is only accessible during the summer months, from mid-June to September. The rest of the year, it is completely snow-bound and inaccessible.
